About Mac & Julie:
Mac Richard is the founding and Senior Pastor of Lake Hills Church in Austin, TX. Mac’s passion is to reach people with Christ’s message of hope by creatively using today’s tools and technology. His teaching is focused on the unchanging truth of scripture presented in a style that captivates, educates, and challenges his audience.
Julie Richard speaks regularly and helps lead Lake Hills Church, which she co-founded with her husband Mac in 1997. Julie Richard believes that genuine joy in Christ is the greatest gift to be handed down from generation to generation through the church. She was perfectly happy for many years spreading this joy among the church’s smallest members as a guiding force in the Children’s Ministry. God has recently placed a new call on Julie’s life, however, and her gift of speaking into the lives of women has emerged. Julie recently launched the ministry Sisterhood: Across Generations to equip, empower, and encourage women of all ages to genuinely enjoy the life God created them to live.
Mac and Julie have been married for over nineteen years and have two children. As well, they have collaborated on the book Beauty Full: Becoming More Than Just Pretty, co-authored by Mac and Ed Young.
