Membership

The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ. For we are all baptized by one spirit into one body. 1 Corinthians 12:12-13

Membership matters! It is important to us individually and to the body at large. It creates a covenant relationship among believers for community, encouragement, accountability and commitment. This is where love becomes active!

What is membership not? It is not required for salvation. Salvation is your personal relationship with God solidified through your acceptance of Jesus Christ. Membership is a reflection of that relationship as we align ourselves with local expression of Jesus’ church. Membership also does not require dues. We encourage tithing as an act of worship to God, regardless of your membership status with the church. However you will not be billed monthly for all of the benefits afforded to you as a member of Lake Hills Church.
