November 11 is Veterans Day, and in our services on Sunday, November 9, we’ll take a special moment to recognize and honor the men and women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.

The Super Sweet Sunday fun starts early for Lake Hills Kids on Sunday, October 26 at 9:15AM + 11:00AM. Kids are encouraged to wear their costumes to church! We've got some extra special and oh-so-sweet services planned! Your kids will play games, sing their hearts out, score cool prizes, absorb an incredible Bible lesson, and leave with pockets full of sweet treats.

FOR KIDS + PARENTS
Kids have a knack for asking BIG questions about faith. We would love to help answer those questions! Whether you’re looking for backup on a specific faith topic or seeking general guidance on helping to disciple your child, Kid Faith Convos are designed to resource you.

These convos are held in a small group setting where Pastor Andrew and child + parents will go over the ABC’s of following Jesus and talk about baptism. Our next Sunday convo will take place on October 19 at 12:30 in the Kids Building. We hope to see you there!

MIDDLE SCHOOLERS!! On September 7, after our 11:00AM service, Lake Hills Students will be transforming our campus into a super cool water park with inflatables, water slides, and refreshing splash zones. But that's not all – we’ll be grilling out so come hungry!

Beat the heat and make a splash with your friends at the Student Building for this completely FREE water-filled celebration to cap off this truly remarkable summer.

As part of the morning services at 9:15 or 11:00 on September 7, we will take a moment to remember the sacrifice of Jesus - His broken body and shed blood - by participating in communion. Everyone is welcome at the services, and those who have entered into a relationship with Jesus are invited to join in communion. We look forward to this time of reflection and remembrance as we follow Jesus’ words to “do this in remembrance of Him” (Luke 22:19).

Men, it’s time to get fueled! Join us Friday, September 5 at 7:15AM for Brisket for Breakfast—a morning loaded with great food, real conversations, and practical encouragement.

We’ll kick things off with a hearty Texas-style brisket breakfast and the chance to connect with other men in our church community. Then Pastor Mac will bring a message designed to equip and inspire us as leaders in our families, workplaces, and beyond.

We’re excited to welcome Bethany Hamilton to Lake Hills Church! Bethany is a professional surfer and author who has inspired millions with her story of faith and resilience after surviving a 2003 shark attack. She shared her journey in her book Soul Surfer, which was later made into a major film. Bethany will be sharing how her faith has carried her through life’s challenges and continues to shape her story. The TALK is a casual seminar for parents of adolescents and their preteens to attend together. The Talk is given by Dr. Alyson Denson, a board-certified pediatrician and mother of four young adult children. She combines both her professional and home experience to give clear explanations and practical and realistic tips for thriving in this turbulent phase of development. The TALK is geared for boys and girls in grades 4-6. 

The TALK is divided into 3 sections:

1. Teen health with a concentration on physical, mental, and spiritual health

2. Relationships between parents and their children

3. Puberty and sex, focusing on God’s plan versus the world’s messaging

Seat belts, everyone! Buckle up for what’s coming up! Join us for our Back to School Blessing on Sunday, August 10 at 9:15 or 11:00 as we gear up for an amazing school year. Get ready to laugh, be encouraged, and have tons of fun as we prepare our hearts and minds for what's ahead.

Kids and students from Kinder through 12th grade will join us in the main worship service. Our amazing Student Stage Leaders—the same awesome crew who lead our LHC Kids each week—will kick things off, followed by worship and a special message from Pastor Mac & Julie to get us fired up (or at least ready!) for the new school year!

Come early for all the pre-service festivities—food, photo ops, giveaways, and loads of school spirit. Bring your friends, bring your excitement, and let's kick off the school year together as we pray for God's blessing over our families and the incredible school faculty across our surrounding school districts.

We’re inviting you to join us for a free FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT on Sunday, July 27 at 5:30 in the Lake Hills Kids Building. For one night only, we will transform the upstairs Kids Building into two theaters, giving you the opportunity to choose your preferred movie.

And no movie night would be complete without snacks! Rest assured, we have you covered. Our concession stand will offer an array of movie theater treats such as candy, popcorn, drinks, and even pizza – all priced at $1 each!

Hey High Schoolers! Get ready to spike, serve, and sizzle at our Volleyball & Grill Night on July 16 from 7:00-8:30 at the Student Building! Join us for a night of competitive volleyball and some good ol' grilling! Whether you're a seasoned player or just here for the fun, we've got something for everyone.

Come hungry, leave happy as we fire up the grill while you fire up the competition. Bring your A-game and your appetite for a memorable summer night with friends - no experience necessary!

If your child is interested in taking the next step in their faith or is simply ready to learn more, Kid Faith is perfect for them! This parent-child class is designed to guide them through the ABCs of following Jesus and initiate conversations about baptism. Our goal is to provide clarity to kids regarding their relationship with Christ, while also equipping parents with useful language and ideas to continue the conversation at home.

High Schoolers! Get ready for the most epic summer night yet! Join us for Slip 'N Slide Kickball — a wild mashup of classic kickball and slippery, slide-filled chaos. We’ll kick off the fun at 7:00 at the Student Building with friendly competition, water-soaked action, and plenty of laughs.

Bring a towel, wear something you don’t mind getting drenched in, and invite your crew — this is one high school night you don’t want to miss!
